Census Bureau: 75.1% of people in Nebraska were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 1,951,480 citizens living in Nebraska in 2021, 75.1% were old enough to vote, equating to 1,465,570 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 728,846 were male, constituting 49.7%, and 736,724 were female, making up 50.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Nebraska during 2021 was lower than the national average, which stands at 77.5%.
