College of Saint Mary Swim Coach Mykenzie Leehy is pleased to announce the signing of Hannah Steinmetz.
Steinmetz recently signed her letter of intent to continue her education and swim career with the Flames. The daughter of Justin and Sarah Steinmetz is currently a senior at Heartland Christian School.
"We are excited to welcome Hannah to our team next year," Leehy said. "She is a quiet but strong competitor and she brings values that match our culture."
The 5-6 swimmer competes for Lewis Central Community Schools and also participates in track & field for Heartland Christian School. She has been a state qualifier for swimming and holds several school records in track & field.
Steinmetz plans to pursue a degree in Education at CSM and says her hobbies include crocheting, sewing, singing, writing, running and hanging out with family.
"I chose CSM because of the distance from home and I like the swim coach," she said.
