Keys To the Game on Saturday, December 10
- Sharing the Rock: In eight games the Bluejays have 129 assists (16.1 per game), but Creighton had just 10 in the loss to St. John's.
- The Battle Inside: Drake hammered the ball in the paint last season, scoring 46 down low. The combo of Maggie Bair and Grace Berg delivered 23 points and 15 rebounds against Creighton last season.
- Three-Point Shooting: Last season the Bluejays fired off 39 treys, hitting 14. Creighton needs to be a bit more judicious from outside to claim a victory on Saturday.
Emma Ronsiek and Mallory Brake: Ronsiek and Brake will need to clog the middle and make it difficult to score in the paint. In addition the duo need to impact the game offensively.
Finally Home!
After playing seven of the first eight games on the road, the Bluejays play three of four in the friendly surroundings of D.J. Sokol Arena. The scheduled remains challenging however, as Drake, Arkansas and #6 Connecticut come to Omaha in December.
