U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE) has released his second annual Ricketts Review, a report summarizing his legislative activities and achievements over the past year. The report details the senator's efforts to advance what he describes as "Nebraska solutions that are ready for America."
According to the release, the review features key accomplishments from the 119th Senate, including passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill. This legislation is described as a major achievement for Nebraska residents by preventing a $2,443 tax increase, expanding child tax credits, making the Death Tax exemption permanent, and ensuring there are no taxes on tips, overtime pay, or Social Security benefits.
The report also covers other legislative milestones such as bipartisan bills like the HALT Fentanyl Act and the Laken Riley Act. It highlights what is characterized as daily successes in the Senate chamber, including confirming a record number of nominees despite challenges from partisan opposition.
Senator Ricketts stated that the review "outlines Ricketts’ legislative work to keep Americans safe, make government work, and deliver proven Nebraska solutions."
Printed versions of the Ricketts Review will be available at Senator Ricketts' four offices located in Scottsbluff, Kearney, Lincoln, and Omaha.
