The federal Grand Jury for the District of Nebraska has returned nine unsealed indictments charging ten individuals with various offenses, according to an announcement from United States Attorney Lesley A. Woods. The indictments include allegations ranging from drug distribution and child pornography to theft of government funds and bank burglary.
United States Attorney Woods emphasized that "Indictments are charging documents that contain one or more individual counts that are merely accusations, and every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty."
Among those charged is Dylan Piche, 24, of Grand Island, Nebraska. Piche faces two counts related to child pornography: receipt and distribution between November 2023 and June 2024, and possession in July 2024. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison on each count, significant fines, supervised release terms, and special assessments.
Thomas Leone Henry, 37, of Williams, Arizona, is accused of possessing methamphetamine and at least 400 grams of fentanyl with intent to distribute in May 2025. Conviction could result in a sentence ranging from ten years to life imprisonment.
Jennifer Suing, 48, of Lincoln, Nebraska, is charged with possessing over 50 grams of methamphetamine with intent to distribute earlier this year. The charge carries a potential penalty of at least 25 years up to life in prison if convicted.
Lloyd A. Nelson Jr., 70, from Omaha faces charges for theft of government funds over a period spanning March 2022 through September 2025. If found guilty, he could receive up to ten years’ imprisonment.
A five-count indictment names Mallory M. Chartraw and Maria K. Siemsen—both from Lincoln—for conspiracy and multiple counts related to fentanyl distribution between February 2022 and April 2025. Siemsen also faces three additional counts for distributing fentanyl on separate occasions in March and April this year.
Charles Aldrich, age 18 from Macy, Nebraska, is indicted on charges including assault with a dangerous weapon with intent to do bodily harm as well as use of a firearm during a crime of violence in August this year.
Travis M. Knipp (29) from Omaha is charged with escape from custody earlier this summer; Salih M. Samin Totakhil (37), also from Omaha, faces an international parental kidnapping charge dating back to March 2022; Carlos Hernandez Moreno (21) from Kearney stands accused of bank burglary and damaging a protected computer system in mid-August.
All defendants remain presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court proceedings.
