Shakesfear

Something wicked this way comes. Step into a haunting reinterpretation of Shakespeare’s works brought to you by the Nebraska Repertory Theatre in conjunction with faculty and students from the College of Fine and Performing Arts.
Lincoln’s only haunted attraction, this immersive theater experience features trained actors and terrifying production design to satisfy both your literary and supernatural cravings. (Ages 13+) Learn more and get tickets here.
Beetlejuice free screening at the Ross
7 p.m., Oct. 6
Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! Don’t miss this free-to-all screening of Tim Burton’s Halloween classic about everyone’s favorite “bio-exorcist,” who’s recruited by a recently deceased couple to scare off the obnoxious new residents of their home.
Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Ross box office. Limit 2 tickets per person.
The screening is presented in conjunction with the Lied Center’s Danny Elfman Week, October 5-8.
Haymarket Farmer’s Market
8 a.m.-noon, Oct. 1, 8 and 15
Produce, baked goods, handmade crafts, coffee, breakfast and lunch eats, a cozy local atmosphere — it’s all there at the Haymarket Farmer’s Market. October marks the final three markets of the season.

State of Diversity Panel
10 a.m., Oct. 26, Great Plains Room in the East Campus Union
Presented by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, the fourth annual State of Diversity event will feature a range of thought-provoking panelists and campus leaders addressing issues and discussing trends that can help further inclusivity at Nebraska. The State of Diversity is open to all members of the campus community. Register here.

Explore Lincoln’s Bike Trails
Fun fact — Lincoln has over 134 miles of bike trails. Yes, you read that right. It also has plenty of hiking and biking trails within its many parks, giving you plenty of options for getting out and enjoying the crisp fall weather and soaking in the beautiful scenery of the changing seasons.
If you want to find a group to join, the Outdoor Adventures Center hosts rides throughout the month.
Find a trail and get outside as often as you can.
