EDA awards over $1 million in grants for economic development projects in Nebraska in 2023

In 2023, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) issued three grants totaling $1,616,976 to fund economic development projects in Nebraska.

This represents a 95.4% decrease from 2022, when the state received $35,291,406 in funding.

Nebraska ranked 42nd across the U.S. in total EDA grant funding for 2023. South Carolina topped the list with $30,038,466 in funding across 14 grants.

City of Tecumseh received the largest EDA grant for funding an economic development project in the state, totalling $769,266.
