Carinda M. Blair, a 39-year-old resident of Omaha, Nebraska, was sentenced on June 11, 2025, for her role in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy. The sentence was announced by United States Attorney Lesley A. Woods. Chief United States District Court Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr. imposed a prison term of 78 months on Blair. Following her release from prison, she will be subject to two years of supervised release as there is no parole in the federal system.

Blair's charges stemmed from her connection with a Mexico-based source of supply (SOS) for methamphetamine. She functioned as a local courier distributing the drug in Nebraska and Iowa.

The investigation into Blair began when surveillance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Drug Enforcement Administration observed a suspected drug courier visiting her Omaha apartment for a transaction on August 17, 2023. A search warrant executed on the SOS’s phone number revealed messages confirming that Blair had arranged this deal and had been regularly purchasing ounces of methamphetamine from the SOS since March 2023.

The case was investigated collaboratively by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
