Weather permitting, work will begin May 2 on N-50 south of Syracuse, from reference post 37.89 to reference post 51.84, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Constructors Inc., of Lincoln, Nebraska, is the contractor for this project. Work includes concrete pavement patching, bridge repairs, new guardrail at bridge locations, box culvert extensions, new culvert pipe, grading, and asphalt overlay.
Traffic will be maintained with a pilot car and flaggers and traffic signals at bridge. Anticipated completion is summer 2023. Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
