Small Business Day in Nebraska to discuss key issues with Governor Pillen

Nebraska's Small Business Day is set to take place in Lincoln, featuring Governor Jim Pillen. The event will address issues such as Paid Sick Leave and property taxes, which are significant concerns for small businesses. NFIB State Director Ryan McIntosh will deliver a legislative update, while NFIB Grassroots Manager Ben Abrahamson will discuss advocacy efforts at both the state and federal levels.

Additional guest speakers will include lawmakers who support small business interests. Participants are encouraged to engage with fellow NFIB members and express their concerns.

The event is scheduled for March 6th, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Central Time at the Hruska Bar Foundation Conference Room in Lincoln. Discussions will cover topics including reforming Paid Sick Leave, property taxes, and repealing the Inheritance Tax. Attendance is free of charge.
