The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), a prominent small business advocacy group, has thrown its support behind U.S. Senator Deb Fischer as she seeks re-election to the United States Senate.
"Senator Fischer has been a strong advocate in the U.S. Senate for small business owners and their employees," stated Ryan McIntosh, NFIB Nebraska State Director. He highlighted her role as a cosponsor of the Main Street Tax Certainty Act, which is a priority for NFIB members as it aims to make the Small Business Deduction permanent. "We are proud to endorse Senator Fischer for re-election today and we are confident she will continue to help job creators in Nebraska own, operate, and grow their businesses," McIntosh added.
Furthermore, Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director, remarked, "Senator Fischer has achieved a 100% NFIB voting record on key small business issues." Sussin emphasized Fischer's partnership in the U.S. Senate and her commitment to the success of Nebraska’s small businesses. "We are proud to endorse Senator Fischer for re-election today and look forward to continuing to work with her," Sussin said.
The endorsement was made by NFIB FedPAC, the political action committee of NFIB, which is funded through voluntary contributions from NFIB members beyond their regular membership dues. The decision-making process of NFIB FedPAC is managed through a grassroots evaluation driven by its members.
