U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE) held his second Federal Issues Forum at the Nebraska State Fair, providing a legislative update and hosting panel discussions on federal matters relevant to Nebraskans. The forum featured EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin and Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso (R-WY) as guests.
“I’m grateful for Administrator Zeldin, Majority Whip Barrasso, and many Nebraskans who attended this year’s Federal Issues Forum,” said Ricketts. “Working with the Trump Administration, Senate Republicans are protecting families, securing the border, and fostering a stronger economy. I’ll continue fighting to deliver results and get our country back on track.”
The event was held in the Raising Nebraska Building and included two panels focused on current federal issues. Ricketts also discussed his efforts to bring what he called Proven Nebraska Solutions that are Ready for America. Attendees received copies of the Ricketts Review report, which details some of his priorities from the past year. The report is available online at https://www.ricketts.senate.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Ricketts-Review-2025.pdf.
