The Universal Service Fund (USF) Working Group, co-chaired by U.S. Senator Deb Fischer, has opened a public comment portal on Fischer’s official website. The portal is designed to collect updated input regarding the future of the USF.
Senator Fischer stated, “As a co-chair of the Universal Service Fund Working Group, I’m committed to working toward a long-term solution for the Universal Service Fund and the communications services it supports. With our comment portal now open, I look forward to reviewing feedback with the goal of closing the digital divide for unserved and underserved communities across America.”
The public can access the portal at fischer.senate.gov/usf. Comments must be submitted by Monday, September 15, 2025.
